The JA Live & Direct Series takes a fresh look at what is really
going on the island of Jamaica, in the Caribbean, which is famous
for its amazing beaches, sports heroes, music, cuisine, culture and
freedom fighters such as, the late Marcus Garvey. JA Live & Direct
takes a look behind the scenes and goes into local communities to get the point of view and opinions of Jamaicans themselves, concerning local, current and national issues going on in their country today. Our aim is to give a voice to the unheard in Jamaica and enable the viewer to get a better understanding of these unique, friendly, intelligent and spiritual people. who have stood as a beacon of hope, light and truth for the rest of the world.

There are over three million British Afro-Caribbeans living across
the UK today who make up 2 to 3% of the population of England
and Wales. Their story has never been fully told, so we have taken
the opportunity to bring to light the real reasons for the continual
underlying unrest as witnessed in the British Media about this British Community, who it seems have constantly been the target of institutionalised racism, disrespect, and whose needs have been disregarded and ignored unlike no other racial community in the history of the United Kingdom. In this documentary we highlight the true experiences of the British Afro Caribbeans living in the UK today and share their journey which spans over seventy years and three generations!
